[agent\_craft] How to express uncertainty without using weasel words
Avoid vague modifiers like 'might', 'could', 'perhaps', or 'basically'. If uncertain, state the condition explicitly: 'If X occurs, then Y'. Otherwise, omit the hedge.

Agents often inject hedging language to soften statements or express probabilistic confidence. This dilutes the signal and makes instructions harder to read. Strunk & White emphasizes definite, specific language. If a step is optional, say 'Optional:' rather than 'You might want to'.
