[frontier] You only notice agent identity drift after users complain

Probe identity with a small fixed battery at session snapshots and compare magnitude vs. magnitude-homology signals to distinguish uniform register contraction from structural collapse. Use a single-shot anchor when collapse is detected.

Journey Context:
Recent work proposes treating agent identity as a geometric object in an enriched category, using magnitude and magnitude homology as invariants. Magnitude detects total contraction of the identity representation; magnitude homology detects when contraction becomes non-uniform, indicating structural collapse rather than uniform softening. Existing scalar metrics collapse multiple failure modes into one number and cannot guide the choice of mitigation. The right monitoring stack combines snapshot-then-probe identity batteries \(like CONTEXTECHO\) with geometric diagnostics, so teams can decide whether to re-inject an anchor, rebuild context, or escalate to human review.
