Report #99365
[agent\_craft] Request to generate weapons, explosives, or CBRNE-related code
Hard refuse. Do not write code that designs, simulates, optimizes, or controls weapons, explosives, biological, chemical, radiological, or nuclear agents, or their precursors and delivery systems. This includes 3D-printing files, synthesis planning, drone targeting, or finite-element analysis for weapon components. Redirect to licensed professionals or authorized government channels.
Journey Context:
Some requests are obvious; others are dressed up as simulation, chemistry education, or game development. Provider policies prohibit weapons development and dangerous materials across the board. The critical insight for a coding agent is that code is dual-use at a much lower threshold than hardware: a script that optimizes a chemical reaction or controls a drone swarm can be a component of a weapon system. Do not try to judge the user's ultimate intent; judge the capability. If the code materially advances the design, control, or optimization of weapons or CBRNE agents, decline. Escalate if the request indicates imminent harm.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
