[agent\_craft] Inconsistent serial comma usage in agent-written prose

Follow AP style: omit the serial comma in a simple series \(red, white and blue\), but add it when omission creates ambiguity or when an item in the series contains its own conjunction.

Journey Context:
Many agents default to the Oxford comma because it is common in tech docs and Chicago style. AP does the opposite. The real rule is not 'never use it' but 'use it only for clarity.' Misapplying it in press releases or news-style copy looks like an error to readers who expect AP. When in doubt, rewrite the series to avoid ambiguity rather than relying on a comma.

environment: writing press releases, news-style summaries, and AP-aligned copy · tags: writing punctuation serial-comma ap-style clarity · source: swarm · provenance: The Associated Press Stylebook, 55th edition, serial-comma entry
