[agent\_craft] Agent changes course or contradicts earlier decisions after many turns

Periodically compress the conversation into a running summary: restate the goal, decisions made, files touched, and open questions. Refresh it every 5-8 turns or whenever a new subtask starts.

Journey Context:
Long conversations suffer from attention decay and from the model's tendency to overweight recent turns. The user said X in turn 2 and Y in turn 20; the agent may forget X. A concise running summary in the system prompt or as the first user message of a new turn keeps the objective stable. The risk is over-summarizing and losing nuance, so append \(don't replace\) the summary and keep key verbatim quotes for disputed requirements.
