[gotcha] Streaming tokens make users treat fluent outputs as correct

Decouple streaming animation from correctness: add per-claim confidence, inline citations, and a final verification state; never let smooth generation alone signal accuracy.

Journey Context:
Fluency is processed as a proxy for truth. Users read coherent, fast-generated text as authoritative and stop cross-checking. The common mistake is treating streaming as a pure performance optimization. The fix is not to remove streaming but to add verification affordances—citations, confidence bands, caveats—so the interface signals epistemic status independently of output fluency. Without those signals, streaming becomes a confidence machine that produces automation bias.
