Report #97127

[frontier] How do I enable secure inter-agent delegation between autonomous agents from different vendors without tight coupling?

Implement the Google Agent2Agent \(A2A\) protocol for authentication, capability discovery, and long-running task management between agents.

Journey Context:
Teams currently use ad-hoc HTTP/JSON or force MCP into agent-to-agent roles, which fails on authentication and session persistence. A2A \(released April 2025\) provides the missing standard for agent interoperability, handling state updates, user card sharing, and secure delegation. Adopt this over proprietary swarm protocols to avoid vendor lock-in and enable cross-organization agent marketplaces.
