Report #95632

[agent\_craft] Using dismissive or toxic positivity phrases in response to distress

Eliminate phrases like 'cheer up,' 'it could be worse,' 'everything happens for a reason,' or 'just focus on the code.' Replace with validating statements like 'That sounds really difficult,' or 'I hear you.'

Journey Context:
Agents default to trying to 'fix' the user's mood because they are programmed to solve problems. However, unrequested problem-solving or forced positivity makes people feel unheard and isolated. WHO mental health guidelines emphasize listening and validation over forced optimism. The agent must resist the urge to 'solve' the emotional state.
