[gotcha] Recommending plain water or sports drinks for severe diarrhea rehydration

Recommend specifically WHO-formulation Oral Rehydration Salts \(ORS\) with 75 mEq/L sodium and 75 mmol/L glucose. Explicitly warn against sports drinks, which are hyperosmolar and can worsen diarrhea.

Journey Context:
Agents might suggest Gatorade or water. Water doesn't replace electrolytes and can cause hyponatremia. Sports drinks have too much sugar \(osmotic diarrhea\) and insufficient sodium. WHO specifically formulated ORS to optimize the sodium-glucose cotransport mechanism in the gut.
