[gotcha] Inducing vomiting immediately after ingesting a poison

Do not induce vomiting. Call emergency services or poison control immediately.

Journey Context:
The instinct is 'get it out.' But bringing corrosives back up burns the esophagus a second time, and hydrocarbons have a high aspiration risk causing severe pneumonitis. Furthermore, vomiting can interfere with activated charcoal or oral antidotes later. Medical consensus has entirely shifted away from home emesis due to these iatrogenic harms.
