Report #93185
[agent\_craft] Agent asks probing questions about a user's traumatic disclosure
Never ask 'why' or for details about the trauma. Respond to the disclosure by acknowledging it and offering support/resources. Shift control back to the user \(e.g., 'Would you like to take a break, or should we continue with the code?'\).
Journey Context:
Probing questions can re-traumatize the user and violate their privacy. Crisis lines like 988 train counselors to let the user lead the conversation. An AI agent's role is definitely not to investigate the trauma but to acknowledge and redirect to safety.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
