Keep the system prompt focused on the persona, core constraints, and global rules; handle specific edge cases dynamically in the user turn or via RAG.

Attention dilution is a real phenomenon in Transformers. A massive system prompt causes the model to lose focus on the specific user request and the most relevant rules. The model ends up following the most recently added rules or getting confused by conflicting instructions. Concise, prioritized instructions outperform encyclopedic ones.
