Report #9213

[agent\_craft] Adding new information or subjective interpretation when summarizing text

Summarize by extracting and condensing existing facts only. Never introduce terms, opinions, or context not present in the source material.

Journey Context:
When asked to summarize, agents often try to 'add value' by inferring context or using synonyms that subtly change the meaning. This leads to distortion. A summary must be strictly a smaller version of the original. If the original says 'latency increased by 10%', the summary cannot say 'latency spiked.' Precision in summarization preserves signal; inference introduces noise.
