[synthesis] Why zero-shot AI features fail in enterprise onboarding

Ship AI features with a warm-up phase where the model operates in observation-only mode \(suggesting but not acting\) to gather user-specific context, before allowing autonomous action.

Journey Context:
Enterprise AI features are often evaluated on their zero-shot performance out of the box. But an AI that doesn't know the company's acronyms, style, or context will fail immediately. Traditional software starts with empty state and the user fills it in. AI is expected to start working immediately. The synthesis: you must invert the deployment order. Use the AI's capability to observe and extract context first, then transition to action. This bridges the gap between generic model capability and specific user utility.
