[gotcha] Silent background AI auto-corrections cause users to lose track of their original intent

Always provide a visible diff or a transient highlight when AI modifies user input, and ensure the original input is recoverable.

Journey Context:
To reduce latency, some products run AI in the background to 'clean up' user prompts or code. If the AI silently alters the user's input before processing, and the output doesn't match expectations, the user doesn't know why because they can't see the altered prompt. Silent edits break the mental link between input and output.
