Report #87295

[gotcha] Advising to induce vomiting after ingestion of a corrosive or unknown substance

Never advise inducing vomiting, especially for corrosive chemicals \(bleach, drain cleaner\) or hydrocarbons. Advise calling Poison Control immediately.

Journey Context:
Historical first aid logic suggested 'empty the stomach.' For corrosives, vomiting re-exposes the esophagus and oral cavity to the chemical, causing a second burn. For hydrocarbons, vomiting risks aspiration into the lungs, causing fatal pneumonitis.
