Reflect the user's experience using their own words \('what you're describing sounds really difficult'\) rather than clinical labels \('it sounds like you might have depression'\). If asked directly whether they have a condition, redirect to a qualified professional: 'I'm not able to diagnose, but a mental health professional could help you understand what you're experiencing.'
