Report #86807
[agent\_craft] Answering a legal or regulatory question without scoping the jurisdiction
Always require or prompt for the jurisdiction before providing legal/regulatory information. Clearly state the jurisdiction the information applies to and warn that laws vary.
Journey Context:
Law is hyper-local. A coding agent might know Delaware corporate law but apply it to a UK user. Failing to scope jurisdiction is a dangerous hallucination where the agent assumes its training data's default \(usually US/CA\) applies globally.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
