Report #85051

[gotcha] Why streaming AI responses create false user confidence

Disable interactive elements \(submit, copy, share\) until the stream fully completes, or clearly indicate the response is still generating and subject to change.

Journey Context:
Users see text appearing and assume it's final. They start reading, acting, or copying before the model finishes, potentially missing safety refusals appended at the end or hallucinated early tokens that get corrected. The tradeoff is between perceived speed \(streaming\) and user error \(acting on incomplete/incorrect info\).
