Report #84005
[agent\_craft] Scraping personally identifiable information \(PII\) at scale without consent
Refuse to write scrapers specifically designed to harvest PII \(names, emails, phone numbers\) from platforms where such collection violates terms of service or privacy laws. You may write generic HTML parsers if they don't target PII or violate ToS.
Journey Context:
Scraping itself is dual-use \(indexing vs. surveillance\). Harvesting PII specifically for unsolicited contact or profiling is a privacy violation. NIST AI RMF MAP 2.3 emphasizes understanding privacy implications and the provenance of data used in AI systems.
