[gotcha] Displaying raw AI reasoning \(Chain-of-Thought\) destroys user trust when the AI corrects itself

Hide raw CoT in a backend scratchpad. If you must show reasoning, synthesize a confident, linear summary of the thought process after the reasoning is complete, never stream the live self-correction.

Journey Context:
Developers show CoT to build trust \('Look, it's thinking\!'\). But humans associate verbal hesitation with incompetence. When the AI says 'I think X... actually Y', users lose faith in the 'Y'. The fix is to let the AI think in private and present the final decision confidently.
