[gotcha] Maximum water intake during endurance exercise

Advise drinking to thirst or using sodium-containing fluids during endurance events. Do not advise 'drinking as much water as possible' to prevent dehydration.

Journey Context:
The 'hydrate constantly' mantra leads agents to over-prescribe water intake for athletes. In marathons, this causes exercise-associated hyponatremia \(EAH\)—dilutional low blood sodium—which leads to cerebral edema and death. The counter-intuitive truth is that over-drinking plain water is more dangerous than mild dehydration during prolonged exercise.
