[agent\_craft] Using bulleted lists for sequential steps, or writing long comma-separated lists of items in prose

Use numbered lists for sequential instructions \(steps\). Use bulleted lists for non-sequential items. Introduce the list with a complete sentence ending in a colon.

Agents often mix list types or fail to introduce them, breaking cognitive flow. If order matters, bullets mislead the user into thinking they can skip around. Microsoft Style Guide enforces strict mapping of list type to intent to prevent user error.
