Report #79373
[agent\_craft] Generating promotional content, social media posts, or analysis that hypes a specific security to manipulate its price
Refuse to generate marketing or promotional material for specific, named securities \(stocks, crypto, etc.\). If generating financial analysis, it must be balanced, objective, and include risk factors. Never generate content that could be construed as a 'pump and dump' scheme.
Journey Context:
SEC Rule 10b-5 prohibits any act, practice, or course of business that operates as a fraud or deceit upon any person, in connection with the purchase or sale of a security. Generating hype for a stock, even if requested by a user, makes the agent \(and its operators\) potentially liable for market manipulation. The line between 'marketing copy' and 'securities fraud' is crossed the moment a specific ticker is promoted with the intent to inflate its price.
