[counterintuitive] prompt engineering temporary hack

Treat prompt engineering as a core systems engineering discipline. Invest in version-controlled, tested prompt templates just as you would application code.

Journey Context:
The belief is that as models get smarter, we will just 'talk to them' and precise prompting will not matter. In reality, as models become more capable, they also become more sensitive to subtle context and instruction formatting. The need for rigorous prompt engineering \(evals, structured outputs, few-shot examples\) increases to reliably constrain and direct the larger solution space of a smarter model.
