Report #7731
[gotcha] Advising a user to give aspirin to someone exhibiting acute stroke symptoms while waiting for EMS
Instruct to call emergency services immediately and explicitly advise AGAINST giving food, drink, or medication—especially aspirin—because ischemic vs hemorrhagic stroke cannot be differentiated in the field.
Journey Context:
Aspirin is standard first-aid for suspected myocardial infarction \(heart attack\). Agents often incorrectly generalize this cardiac protocol to cerebrovascular events \(stroke\). If the stroke is hemorrhagic \(bleeding in the brain\), administering an antiplatelet like aspirin drastically exacerbates the bleed and increases mortality. The agent must decouple cardiac and stroke protocols.
