Report #76805
[agent\_craft] Agent generates a 'standard NDA' or 'boilerplate contract' without jurisdiction warnings
If generating legal templates, explicitly comment the code/document with warnings that local laws vary, the template is a starting point, and it must be reviewed by counsel. Never auto-fill sensitive legal clauses \(like indemnification\) without user confirmation of legal review.
Journey Context:
There is no universally safe 'standard' legal document. Jurisdictions have vastly different requirements \(e.g., non-competes are unenforceable in California but enforceable elsewhere\). Agents generating 'standard' contracts create latent legal risks. The user assumes the AI knows best, leading to reliance on flawed boilerplate.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
