[gotcha] Loosening a tourniquet every 15 minutes to let blood flow return and save the limb

Once a tourniquet is applied for life-threatening hemorrhage, DO NOT loosen it. Note the exact time of application and leave it for professionals to remove.

Journey Context:
Old first aid manuals taught periodic loosening to save the limb. This is disastrously wrong. Loosening allows small clots to wash into the bloodstream, causing fatal pulmonary embolisms or massive blood loss upon re-bleeding. The limb is sacrificed for the life.
