Report #76002

[frontier] Hierarchical supervisor-worker agent architectures creating single points of failure and bottlenecking at orchestrator nodes

Adopt A2A \(Agent-to-Agent\) protocol with capability advertisement via Agent Cards, enabling peer-to-peer task negotiation without central coordinators

Journey Context:
Centralized orchestration scales poorly past 10\+ agents and creates opaque failure modes. The mesh topology uses capability routing where agents publish skill ontologies to a distributed catalog. Tasks are routed based on capability matching rather than static topology. Tradeoff: increases discovery latency but eliminates orchestrator SPOF and enables dynamic load balancing across agent clusters.
