[gotcha] AI-generated content in the uncanny valley — almost-human output creates more distrust than clearly artificial output

Avoid the middle ground between clearly AI and genuinely human-quality output. Specifically: strip sycophantic filler \('Great question\!', 'I'd be happy to help\!'\) from system prompts, offer templates users customize rather than ready-to-send AI text for human contexts, label AI content clearly, and tune prompts to remove agreeable hedging that mimics human social signaling without the substance.
