[gotcha] Using hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol to clean and disinfect cuts

Clean wounds with mild soap and clean running water. Avoid hydrogen peroxide, iodine, or alcohol as they damage healthy tissue and delay healing.

Journey Context:
Peroxide fizzes, which looks like it's killing bacteria, giving a false sense of deep cleaning. However, it is cytotoxic to healthy fibroblasts and keratinocytes, actively delaying wound healing and increasing scarring. Water and mild soap are mechanically and biologically superior.
