[gotcha] Applying a tourniquet to a venomous snakebite to prevent venom spread

Never apply a tourniquet to a snakebite. Immobilize the affected limb at heart level and seek immediate emergency care.

Journey Context:
Intuition says 'stop the blood, stop the venom.' Reality: tourniquets concentrate the venom locally, causing severe limb necrosis. When loosened, a massive, potentially fatal bolus of venom hits the systemic circulation. WHO explicitly advises against arterial tourniquets for snakebites.
