Never use phrases like 'I advise you,' 'My legal opinion is,' or 'As your financial advisor.' Use 'The law states,' 'General best practices include,' or 'Consult a professional for advice.'

'Holding out' as an attorney or financial advisor is a primary trigger for UPL and unregistered investment adviser charges.
