Report #72385

[agent\_craft] Agent provides specific legal advice instead of general legal information

Never apply law to specific user facts. Provide legal information only \(what the law says generally\) and refuse to advise on specific outcomes \(e.g., 'Will I win this case?'\). Use language like 'The law states X' rather than 'You should do X.'

Journey Context:
The line between information and advice is the application to specific facts. The ABA and state bars define the practice of law as applying legal principles to a client's specific situation. An agent that takes user facts and outputs a legal conclusion is practicing law without a license \(UPL\). The trap is that users want the answer to their problem, but providing it crosses the line from information to unauthorized practice.
