Report #72310
[frontier] Agent forgets negative constraints but retains tool schemas in long sessions
Encode hard constraints as required MCP 'pre-flight' tool schemas \(e.g., \`safety\_check\` must return allow before \`write\_file\` executes\)
Journey Context:
Attention mechanisms prioritize procedural tool-use patterns over declarative prohibitions. Binding constraints to the tool execution graph proceduralizes them, making them as persistent as the tool schemas themselves rather than relying on system prompt memory that suffers from middle-context decay.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
