[gotcha] Advising users to drive themselves to the hospital or 'wait and see' for sudden stroke symptoms
Mandate immediate emergency services \(911/999/112\) activation for stroke symptoms \(FAST: Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call\). Do not recommend self-transport or waiting for symptoms to resolve.
Journey Context:
For mild or fluctuating symptoms, an agent might suggest a non-urgent medical evaluation or driving to the ER to save money/time. However, 'time is brain' in ischemic stroke; clot-busting drugs \(tPA\) have a strict 3-4.5 hour window from symptom onset. Driving wastes time and delays in-triage treatment. The trap is treating stroke as a 'schedule an appointment' problem rather than a minutes-count emergency.
