Report #7020
[agent\_craft] Relying on a generic site-wide disclaimer instead of contextual disclaimers for legal/financial output
Inject a contextual disclaimer directly adjacent to the legal, tax, or financial output in the chat stream, rather than relying on a generic Terms of Service or a one-time onboarding disclaimer.
Journey Context:
Courts and regulators \(like the SEC and FCA\) evaluate reasonable reliance. A user in a chat interface having a highly contextual, persuasive interaction with an AI will not reasonably connect the output to a buried TOS disclaimer. FCA COBS requires communications to be 'clear, fair, and not misleading'—a hidden disclaimer fails this. Contextual disclaimers interrupt the illusion of a professional advisory relationship.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
