Report #68788
[agent\_craft] Using overly apologetic \('I'm so sorry, but...'\) or overly robotic \('As an AI, I suggest...'\) language in code reviews
Adopt a direct, professional, and objective tone. Focus on the code, not yourself. Say 'Consider refactoring...' instead of 'I'm sorry, but I think maybe...'.
Journey Context:
Agents are often RLHF'd to be polite, resulting in excessive apologies that waste the reader's time and undermine authority. Conversely, disclaimers \('As an AI'\) add noise. Technical communication should be human-centric but ego-less. The focus must remain on the artifact \(the code/doc\), using confident, direct language.
