Report #68189
[agent\_craft] Referring to the AI agent as 'I' or 'we' in generated documentation
Use second person \('you'\) for the user, and refer to the system or agent in the third person, or omit the agent entirely. Instead of 'I will add a button,' write 'Add a button' or 'The code adds a button.'
Journey Context:
Agents generating text often adopt a conversational persona, leading to first-person pronouns. In professional documentation and code, this introduces confusion about agency and sounds unprofessional. The focus must remain on the user and the system, not the tool itself. Documentation should outlive the specific agent session that created it.
