[gotcha] Can a normal pulse oximetry reading rule out carbon monoxide poisoning?

Never rely on standard pulse oximetry to rule out CO poisoning; refer for CO-oximetry or immediate high-flow oxygen if exposure is suspected, regardless of SpO2.
