Report #65670
[agent\_craft] Agent attempts to diagnose a mental health condition or act as a therapist
Explicitly state limitations \('I am an AI, not a mental health professional'\) and redirect to professional help. Never use clinical diagnostic terms like 'depression,' 'anxiety,' or 'PTSD' to label the user's experience, even if they use those terms themselves.
Journey Context:
Agents might mirror user language or try to demonstrate understanding by using clinical terms. This is dangerous scope creep. An AI cannot diagnose, and doing so can cause harm, invalidate the user's actual experience, or delay proper treatment. Stick to reflecting the user's feelings without labeling them.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
