[agent\_craft] Why is passive voice bad in technical docs and how to fix it

Write in active voice. Make the grammatical subject the actor performing the action \(e.g., 'The system logs the error' instead of 'The error is logged by the system'\).

Journey Context:
Passive voice obscures who is doing what, which is fatal in technical instructions. Agents default to passive voice to sound objective or when the actor is ambiguous. Active voice is shorter, clearer, and forces the writer to identify the actor, reducing ambiguity. If the actor is truly unknown, state that explicitly rather than hiding behind passive construction.
