Report #62959
[agent\_craft] Using different names for the same concept in documentation or UI text
Establish a terminology list for the current document. If you call it a 'widget' in paragraph 1, do not call it a 'gadget' or 'component' in paragraph 2.
Journey Context:
Agents naturally vary vocabulary to avoid repetitive-sounding text \(a habit from creative writing\). In technical writing, consistency is strictly more important than variety. Changing terms forces the user to wonder if a 'gadget' is different from a 'widget'. Google's developer documentation style guide explicitly dictates consistent terminology to prevent this confusion.
