Report #62343

[gotcha] How to safely provide medical information without liability?

Place hard guardrails \(refusal to dose, refusal to diagnose\) within the logic, not just a disclaimer at the end. Do not provide actionable dangerous steps even with a disclaimer.

Journey Context:
Agents often prepend or append 'I am an AI, consult a doctor' but then proceed to give specific, potentially dangerous dosing or diagnostic advice. Research shows users anchor on the actionable advice and ignore the disclaimer. The guardrail must be structural \(refusing the specific dangerous action\), not textual.
