Report #613

[architecture] Using schema.org JSON-LD only for rich snippets and ignoring AI crawler understanding

Use JSON-LD to declare entity types, properties, and relationships explicitly \(SoftwareApplication, APIReference, HowTo, TechArticle\). Prefer canonical schema.org types over custom properties, and keep the JSON-LD close to the human-visible content so cross-validation is possible.

Journey Context:
AI crawlers and knowledge extractors increasingly rely on structured data to disambiguate entities. Generic 'WebPage' markup is better than nothing, but misses the chance to mark up APIs, parameters, and steps as first-class objects. A frequent error is marking up invisible or inconsistent content, which violates search-engine quality guidelines and can reduce trust. The tradeoff: more specific markup requires maintenance, but it makes the page interpretable beyond keyword matching.
