[gotcha] Faster AI responses feel less trustworthy in high-stakes domains
For high-stakes contexts \(medical, legal, financial, security\), intentionally add a visible processing phase: show 'Analyzing...', 'Reviewing sources...', or step-by-step progress indicators. Do not optimize for time-to-first-token alone. Match perceived deliberation to the gravity of the task.
