Report #5889
[agent\_craft] Placing warnings or prerequisites after the instruction they modify
Put conditions, warnings, and prerequisites before the action. Write 'Before running the script, back up the database,' not 'Run the script. Note: Back up your database first.'
Journey Context:
If a user executes an instruction before reading the caveat, they can cause destructive errors. Front-loading conditions ensures the reader has the necessary context and safety information before acting. This is a core principle of structured authoring and DITA.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
