Replace persona adoption with explicit quality constraints and evaluation criteria \(e.g., 'Write code that adheres to PEP8, includes error handling for network timeouts, and avoids O\(n^2\) complexity'\).

The folklore was that adopting an expert persona would activate 'expert' weights in the model. In reality, modern models optimize for the tone of the persona rather than the substance. An 'expert' persona might write more confidently incorrect code or use more jargon, increasing hallucination risk. The accurate mental model is that LLMs are constraint-satisfaction engines; explicit constraints directly shape the output distribution, whereas personas only shape the stylistic distribution.
