Report #57979

[agent\_craft] Should I use technical jargon or plain language when explaining concepts?

Use plain language first, then introduce the technical term in parentheses if needed. Never use a long word where a short one works, but don't oversimplify if the audience is technical.

Journey Context:
Agents default to the most technical term they found in the codebase. Strunk & White say 'avoid fancy words.' Plainlanguage.gov says 'write for your audience.' If the audience is a developer, use the API name. If it's a user, use the UI label. Defining terms in plain language first ensures accessibility without losing technical precision.
