Adopt a direct, objective, and constructive tone. Replace "I'm sorry, but you forgot to handle the null case here" with "Handling the null case here prevents a potential crash." Avoid emotional apologies; focus on the code state.

LLMs are RLHF'd to be polite, often resulting in excessive apologizing \("I apologize for the oversight"\). In code review, this adds noise and undermines authority. The Google dev-doc style guide recommends a professional, conversational but objective tone. Apologies don't fix bugs; code does.
